Virginia Pointer
4/5s Teacher
Miss Virginia has been in the early childhood field for 10 years and previously worked as a naturalist and environmental educator in the Midwest and on the East Coast.
Virginia received her B.A. Biology from Moorhead State University, MN and her M.S. Edu. Outdoor Teacher Education, Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Illinois University.
She has a passion for blending her love of natural history and wildlife with teaching young minds through play and mindful experiences.
In her free time Virginia enjoys kayaking, cross country skiing, cooking, gardening, handcrafts, reading and working with her many pets. She enjoys life with her husband, James, and their teenage children, Gracie and Gabriel, who both attended Happy Days.

Kayci Zorman
3/4s Teacher
Miss Kayci recently moved to Ely, but has been coming here for years since her family lives here. She just graduated from Bemidji State University this spring with her B.A. in Elementary Education with a Pre-Primary Endorsement. In my spare time, she loves to be outside with her family and friends.
